Tabernacle Baptist Church of Fiskeville

During the 40 days of Lent we invite you to be a praying partner with other members and friends of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Pray that we may be a faith community that is Growing Together Through Grace.

Pray that you will be open to God and the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.

Listen to the voice of God inviting you into a closer relationship with your Savior.

Share with someone else the story of God's grace in your life.

May God's blessings rest upon you as you journey through this lenten season.

Growing Together Through Grace

Lenten Prayer Guidelines

Visualize yourself in God’s presence – perhaps kneeling with Jesus in the Garden

Praying the Psalms

         Read a Psalm selection

         Read it again, out loud

Read it a third time – as a prayer

Choose one verse or phrase that speaks to you.  Write it down and keep it with you throughout the day.  Repeat the verse or phrase again as you go to bed.

Visualize yourself in the church sanctuary.

Pray for yourself.  Ask God to reveal the special grace you need today.

Who do you see around you?  Do you know of a special need someone may have?  Lift that need to God.

Think of those that may not be able to attend worship.  Reflect on how you might share God’s grace with one of these individuals or families.

As you wait in hope and expectation, what is the grace that you pray for yourself?  for our church?
